Palermo native Pietro Boscia is one of the few painters specialized in the lost art of landscape and cityscape painting on glass, painted in reverse and displayed with the glossy side exposed. Maestro Boscia's workshop is based in central Palermo. The following pieces speak for themselves (click on a painting to view a larger image).

A painting can be custom rendered of a specific subject upon request, for example a Sicilian church or castle, or an ancestral town. Tailor-made, gold leaf frames are also available.
